Several months of art in one post!

Posted in Uncategorized on September 13, 2017 by moon

Okay, here it goes!  Summer is crazy and I clearly haven’t posted for a long time.

I found some great wood where the holes are made from a wood boring clam so I made some frames out of it and then carved some woodcuts to go in those frames!  Some of the frames have the original blocks, others the prints.

Of course, I’ve done many new linocuts and mixed media pieces.  Showing just a few here for now.    Sorry for the long time between posts but now I’m going back to making art again!  My art will be on display in the front window at artEAST in Issaquah October 16-November 15!

Several other events coming!  Stay tuned!

A little over a month ago Trevor and I were driving through West Seattle on our way to a studio sale and came across a building that had a large piece of live edge unfinished wood leaning against it with a “FREE” sign on it!  So of course I pulled over and within a couple of days of sanding I had a great shelf in our home!

I’ve now been working on some more wood projects.

Additionally, I’m taking a sculptural welding class at Pratt and I’m having a BLAST!!!  So much fun!

Here are some of the things I’ve been working on…
